Our countries on the Genially map of Europe

The genially presentation shows a map of Europe on which we marked our schools and hometowns. When you click on the pin it will get you to Google Earth. When you hover the mouse cursor over it you might see some information and pictures.

Heraclitus said that everything flows. However, the uniqueness of our home towns can be frozen by a camera. Taking photos is like painting with light. We think that it can also be painted with beautiful words. This project aims to display photographs inspired by the lyrics of songs popular among teenagers. Or the other way round, presenting the lyrics that became the inspiration. It will also be a great opportunity to introduce local sights and raise the awareness of the diversity of our cultures and languages. We would like to show and share the emotions of the person behind the camera. We believe that it’s a way more than just a click. Students will put their artistic and digital skills to great use by creating a virtual art gallery, They will interpret song fragments in different languages. The project will encourage young people to share their interests by listening to different songs, making playlists and song charts. The project will help to develop competence in photography and learn different photographic techniques. They will also vote for the first three most popular songs. Students will exchange e-letters presenting their home towns, passions and ambitions.
